Description / Kombat 175mm Steel Tent Pegs - Pack of 10
When you need to pitch a tent or basha away from home, a set of pegs is a small but essential part of the shelter kit. These Kombat steel tent pegs are 175mm long and have large hooks to help hold the shelter in place.
They are 3mm thick and are described as ideal for lightweight tents, bashas and bivis. Keep them with the shelter they are intended to set up, and check you have the full set before heading out.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp shelter kit: keep them with a lightweight tent for pitching.
- Basha setup: use them when setting up a basha outdoors.
- Bivi shelter: add them to the kit for setting up a bivvy shelter.
- Home emergency storage: store them alongside shelter equipment for a short-notice move outdoors.
Prep tips
- Keep the pegs together in a labelled pouch so they are easy to find with your shelter.
- Practise pitching your tent or basha before relying on it away from home.
- Check your shelter setup and peg count after each trip, and replace any missing pegs.
