Description / Kombat 1 Litre Military Green Whistling Kettle
When a power cut or water outage leaves you relying on a camping stove, this 1-litre whistling kettle lets you boil water for hot drinks and simple meals. Its aluminium construction keeps it lightweight, while the enamel-coated finish is designed to make cleaning easy.
It is designed for use with gas cookers. The whistle alerts you when the water is boiling, and the plastic handle is described as comfortable and heat-resistant for handling.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: a practical addition to a gas-cooking setup during a power cut.
- Camping kit: boil water for drinks and meals at camp.
- Off-grid cooking: pair it with a gas cooker when mains kitchen facilities are unavailable.
- Small-group kit: its 1-litre capacity suits individual or small-group use.
Prep tips
- Check that your gas cooker is ready to use and follow its instructions before relying on it.
- Practise setting up your cooking kit before an outage or trip, so you know where each item is stored.
