Description / Klean Kanteen TKWide Leakproof Straw Cap Kit - Black
When you need convenient access to water at camp or during an off-grid day, this Klean Kanteen TKWide twist cap adds a built-in straw to a compatible bottle. Its twist closure is described as leakproof, making it a practical way to keep your drinking bottle ready to use between stops.
Twist the straw spout open to drink and closed when it is not in use. The kit includes two extra stainless steel straws with silicone tips for different bottle sizes, plus a straw cleaning brush. The cap fits only Klean Kanteen TKWide insulated bottles with internal threads. It is intended for room-temperature liquids only, not hot or carbonated drinks.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: an accessory for a compatible bottle kept with your water supplies.
- Camp kit: makes a compatible bottle convenient to sip from around camp.
- Off-grid hydration: useful when relying on your own stored water and bottle.
- Everyday water bottle: keeps a compatible TKWide bottle ready for room-temperature drinks.
Prep tips
- Check that your bottle is a TKWide insulated model with internal threads before relying on this cap.
- Practise opening and closing the spout, and check the cap is fitted correctly before packing it.
- Clean the straws and cap after use, and keep a separate way to drink available in your kit.
