Description / Kikkerland Leaf Foraging Tool for Berry & Herb Gathering
When you’re gathering wild food away from home, a dedicated tool can make small harvesting jobs more manageable. The Kikkerland Leaf Foraging Tool is a compact stainless steel tool for pruning, cutting herbs and collecting berries, giving it a practical supporting role in a camp or bushcraft kit.
Use the pruning saw for trimming small branches and plants, the blade for cutting herbs or other vegetation, and the berry harvester to collect berries. Multiple sizes of herb stripper let you strip herbs of different varieties. It is portable and lightweight, but it is not a substitute for knowing which plants are safe to gather and eat.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp: A compact option for gathering identified edible plants and herbs.
- Bushcraft kit: Useful for small pruning and herb-gathering jobs.
- Woodland work: The pruning saw is intended for trimming small branches and plants.
- Home or shed: Keep it with outdoor tools for seasonal herb and berry gathering.

- Only gather plants and berries you can identify with confidence; do not rely on this tool to determine whether something is edible.
- Practise using each part at home before taking it on an outdoor trip.
- Clean and dry the tool after use, then store it securely with your outdoor equipment.
