Description / Jack Pyke Thinsulated Bob Hat - Olive Green, One Size
When a power cut leaves the house cold or you need to spend longer outdoors than planned, an extra warm layer can make a difference. The Jack Pyke Thinsulated Bob Hat is a lightweight acrylic hat for keeping in a home emergency box, grab bag or camp kit.
Made from 100% acrylic, it is described as warm, soft and stretchy for a comfortable fit. The classic bob hat shape is intended for colder months and outdoor use, and the material is resistant to wear. Keep it somewhere easy to reach so it is available when temperatures drop.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: An extra layer to reach for during a heating or power outage.
- Grab bag: A compact clothing item for an evacuation or unexpected time outdoors.
- Car kit: Useful warmth if a breakdown leaves you waiting in cold conditions.
- Camp: A comfortable hat for colder days and evenings outdoors.
Prep tips
- Store it clean and dry, ready to use when needed.
- Keep spare warm layers with it; a hat works best as part of clothing suited to the conditions.
- Check your kit seasonally and make sure the hat still fits the person it is intended for.
