Description / Jack Pyke Olive Brown 30L Rucksack
If you need to gather essential supplies quickly for an evacuation or a day off-grid, a rucksack keeps them together and ready to carry. The Jack Pyke Harrier is a 30L rucksack with several separate compartments, padded adjustable shoulder straps and side compression straps for a more organised load.
Use the front pocket and two mesh side pockets for items you want close to hand, with the middle and rear compartments for the rest of your kit. The rear compartment also has an inside pocket. Adjust the shoulder straps for a comfortable fit and use the compression straps to reduce movement while walking. Hanger loops provide places to attach extra gear.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: Keep a ready-packed set of essentials together for a short-notice departure.
- Grab bag: Organise clothing, food and other supplies in separate compartments.
- Car kit: Store useful items together for a breakdown or an unexpected delay.
- Camp: Carry personal kit and keep smaller items accessible in the pockets.
Prep tips
- Pack heavier items close to your back and keep frequently needed items in accessible pockets.
- Use dry bags or sealed pouches for contents that should stay dry; this rucksack is not described as waterproof.
- Check the packed weight and strap adjustment before relying on it for a longer walk.
- Review the contents periodically and replace anything used or no longer suitable.
