Description / Jack Pyke Olive Brown 20L Rucksack
If you need to leave home at short notice or carry essentials to a camp without mains power, a well-organised rucksack makes supplies easier to manage. The Jack Pyke Kestrel is a 20L rucksack with separate compartments and pockets for keeping kit arranged, plus padded adjustable shoulder straps and a sternum strap for support.
Use the front pocket and compartments to separate items you may need to reach quickly from the rest of your kit. Double zip pullers are fitted to the main compartments, and the two-tier MOLLE straps on the sides let you attach extra gear or accessories. The padded back and top handle provide further carrying options.
Where it fits in your kit
- Grab bag: organise a change of clothing, light and other essentials for a short-notice departure.
- Get-home kit: carry useful supplies for a journey on foot if normal transport is disrupted.
- Home emergency supplies: keep selected items together and ready to pick up.
- Camp and off-grid trips: carry personal essentials and keep smaller items separated in the pockets.
Prep tips
- Pack heavier items close to your back and keep frequently needed supplies easy to reach.
- Review the contents periodically and replace anything used or no longer suitable.
- Try the packed rucksack on before relying on it, and adjust the shoulder and sternum straps for a comfortable fit.
