Description / Jack Pyke Jeep Hat Green - Knitted Beanie with Short Peak
When a power cut or cold spell leaves you dealing with things outdoors, a warm hat is a useful layer to have close by. The Jack Pyke Jeep Hat is a lightweight knitted hat in Green, with a short peak and ear-covering band, making it a practical choice for cold-weather use.
Its stretchable construction is designed to fit most wearers, and the foldable design makes it easy to pack away. Wear it on its own or under a hood; the small peak helps shield the eyes, while the ear-covering band helps protect against wind chill.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: Keep a warm layer ready for a cold power cut.
- Grab bag: Packs away easily for a short-notice departure.
- Car kit: A handy extra layer for a breakdown in cold weather.
- Camp: Useful headwear for outdoor tasks and cool evenings.
Prep tips
- Store it somewhere dry and easy to reach, rather than buried beneath heavier kit.
- Try it with the hood or other layers you expect to wear so you know they fit comfortably together.
- Check your emergency clothing periodically and replace items that become worn or damaged.
