Description / Jack Pyke Green Cartridge Bag with Adjustable Strap
When small supplies need to stay together and be easy to carry on an outdoor trip, this Jack Pyke cartridge bag offers a compact shoulder-bag option. Its durable 600D Cordura construction and adjustable strap make it useful for keeping foraging kit or other essentials organised, whether you are heading to camp or sorting equipment at home.
The bag has a traditional buckle fastening and faux leather trim. It holds approximately 150 boxed cartridges or foraging finds, and its material helps protect contents from the elements. The shoulder strap adjusts to suit the wearer; the bag is not described as waterproof.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp supplies: keep a small selection of everyday outdoor essentials together.
- Foraging kit: carry tools and collected finds in one place.
- Home emergency box: organise smaller items that are easier to find when stored together.
- Shed or workshop: keep frequently used outdoor odds and ends in a dedicated bag.
Prep tips
- Choose contents that fit comfortably and keep heavier items low in the bag.
- Store the bag somewhere dry, and check its contents periodically for items that need replacing.
- Practise adjusting the shoulder strap and securing the buckle before taking it out.
