Description / Jack Pyke Ashcombe Lambwool Zipneck Jumper - Dark Olive

When heating is interrupted on a cold evening or you need another layer outdoors, the Jack Pyke Ashcombe Zipneck Jumper provides practical warmth in a classic pullover. Made from 100% lambswool, it is a useful choice for a home emergency box or clothing kit where comfort matters during a power cut, cold spell or overnight stay.

The medium-weight fine knit has long sleeves, a warm high collar and a quarter front zip with a glove-friendly pull, making it easier to adjust the neck opening and regulate temperature. Contrasting details at the neck and cuffs, plus ribbing at the neckline, cuffs and hem, complete the design. It has a regular fit and is hand-wash only.

Where it fits in your kit

  • Home emergency box: Keep a warm extra layer available if heating is disrupted.
  • Grab bag: A useful clothing option for an evacuation or unexpected overnight stay.
  • Day pack: Add a layer for cool walks and changing outdoor conditions.
  • Camp: Wear it for warmth around camp or as part of a layered clothing system.

Prep tips

  • Store it clean and dry so it is ready to wear when needed.
  • Layer it with a base layer and an outer layer suited to the weather; this jumper is not described as waterproof.
  • Try it with the clothing you plan to pack, and make sure the fit works comfortably over your usual base layer.
  • Follow the hand-wash-only care instruction.
