Description / Highlander Y Beam Arrow 18cm Ultralight Aluminium Tent Pegs - 6 Pack
When you need to pitch a tent or shelter on mixed ground, these Highlander Y Beam Arrow pegs provide a lightweight way to anchor it. Their Y-beam profile is designed to hold in dry, soft or hard ground, making them a useful addition to a camp shelter kit or emergency shelter supplies.
Made from 7075 lightweight aluminium, each peg is 18 cm long and 10 mm wide. The bright orange colour helps make them easier to see on the ground, while attached cord loops make removal easier. The pack contains six pegs.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camping shelter kit: use to anchor a tent on a trip.
- Home emergency box: keep with a tent or shelter intended for temporary use.
- Storm preparedness supplies: store alongside shelter equipment for setting up outdoors.
- Camp and bushcraft kit: keep with the shelter gear used at camp.
Prep tips
- Keep the pegs together with the shelter they are intended to secure, so they are ready when you need to set it up.
- Practise pitching your tent or shelter before relying on it; ground conditions can affect how you place the pegs.
- Count the pegs after use and return them to their storage place to avoid leaving any behind.
