When you need to carry essential kit on foot for an overnight trip or a short-notice evacuation, the Highlander Vulcan 45L Mountain Rucksack provides space for clothing, food and equipment. It is an all-season pack with a raincover included, so it can earn a place in a home emergency setup as well as on mountain trips.
Attachment points accommodate rope, an ice axe and walking poles, while the daisy chain offers additional external lashing options. Padded shoulder straps, a hip belt and load stabilisation straps help keep the pack balanced. The floating detachable lid has a zipped pocket, and the stretch front pockets, zipped side pockets and hip belt pockets give you options for organising smaller items. It is also compatible with a hydration bladder.
