Description / Highlander Vega 40L Rucksack with Integrated Raincover - Sky Blue
When you need to leave home at short notice or carry supplies for a night outdoors, a comfortable pack with space for organised kit makes a practical difference. The Highlander Vega 40L Rucksack in Sky Blue is a lightweight trekking rucksack with an adjustable ventilated back system and an integrated waterproof raincover.
The wire frame and mesh padding help airflow while you walk, and the height-adjustable back system lets you tailor the fit. A divider with bottom access separates the main compartment, while the pole park system, stretch side pockets and smaller zipped and mesh pockets keep frequently used items within reach. It is hydration bladder compatible.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: a pack for gathering essential supplies if you need to leave quickly.
- Bug-out bag: room for clothing, food, water and other personal essentials.
- Short camping trips: organised storage for overnight kit and a raincover for changeable weather.
- Extended day hikes: carry extra layers, water and supplies with adjustable support.
Prep tips
- Pack the items you may need first in the top or accessible pockets, and keep heavier items close to your back.
- Adjust the back system and straps with a realistic load before relying on the pack for a longer walk.
- Check your packed supplies periodically and replace anything used or out of date.
