Description / Highlander Vega 25L Rucksack with Integrated Raincover - Graphite
When a storm or other disruption means gathering essentials for a day away from home, a comfortable pack helps keep useful kit together. The Highlander Vega is a lightweight 25-litre rucksack with an integrated waterproof raincover, making it a practical option for a grab bag or a well-organised day kit.
Its wire frame air vented back system with mesh padding promotes airflow, while adjustable padded shoulder straps and a padded hip belt help distribute the load. Side compression straps stabilise lighter loads, and pockets around the pack keep frequently needed items accessible. It is hydration bladder compatible and has a pole park system for walking poles.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: Use as a grab bag to keep selected essentials together.
- Day-out kit: Carry water, spare layers and other supplies for a walk or journey.
- Storm preparation: The integrated raincover helps cover the pack in wet weather.
- Camp and day hikes: Organise small essentials in the side, hip fin and front pockets.
Prep tips
- Pack the items you would genuinely need first, and keep heavier essentials close to your back.
- Check the contents periodically and replace anything used or no longer suitable.
- Try the pack loaded before relying on it, and adjust the straps for a secure, comfortable fit.
