Description / Highlander Triplex Compact Gas Camping Stove
When a power cut or time off-grid leaves you without a kitchen, a compact gas stove gives you a way to prepare a hot meal. The Highlander Triplex is a portable camping stove with a low profile and wide legs for stability, making it a dependable option for a home emergency box or camp cooking kit.
Its three folding pan supports accommodate a variety of pot sizes and fold down for compact storage. Use the piezo ignition to light the stove without matches, and adjust the flame with the wire gas regulating lever. The low profile is suited to cooking in sheltered spots, and the wide legs help it stand on uneven terrain.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: a cooking option during a power cut.
- Off-grid cooking: prepare meals when you’re away from mains services.
- Camp kitchen: the stable supports suit a variety of pot sizes.

Prep tips
- Check the stove and its gas supply before relying on them, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
- Practise setting up and lighting the stove outdoors before you need it in an emergency.
- Keep a separate backup ignition method, such as matches or a lighter, in your cooking kit.
