Description / Highlander Solid Fuel Hand Warmer Charcoal Refills - 12 Pack
When a power cut leaves the house cold or you need warmth outdoors, a solid fuel hand warmer can provide a simple source of heat. These Highlander charcoal refills are made for use with a solid fuel hand warmer, so you can replenish your warmer rather than set it aside when its fuel is used.
Light a charcoal stick and place it inside the hand warmer case, following the warmer’s instructions. Each stick is designed to generate heat for up to 6 hours. Keep the warmer and refills together so they are ready when cold weather catches you out.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: A refill option for cold periods during a heating or power outage.
- Grab bag: Pack with a compatible hand warmer for warmth when leaving home at short notice.
- Camping kit: Useful for cold-weather trips where you already carry the matching warmer.
- Outdoor work kit: Keep hands warmer during time spent outside in chilly conditions.
Prep tips
- Check that you have a compatible solid fuel hand warmer before packing the refills.
- Store the sticks together with the warmer’s case and instructions, in a dry place.
- Practise setting up the warmer before you rely on it; use it as directed and allow it to cool before handling or storing.
- Keep another suitable way to stay warm available, such as extra layers and gloves.
