Description / Highlander Rayet Hybrid 450E 4 Season Mummy Sleeping Bag - Dark Grey
When a storm or power cut means an overnight stay away from home, a suitable sleeping bag helps make rest more comfortable. The Highlander Rayet Hybrid 450E is a four-season mummy sleeping bag with 450 g per m2 double-layer synthetic insulation, a thermal hood and a shoulder baffle to help retain warmth.
The 210T polyester ripstop shell has a water repellent finish, and the siliconised hollow fibre filling is designed to continue insulating in damp conditions such as tent condensation. Adjust the two-way zip for ventilation, and use the draw cords on the hood and shoulder baffle to help seal in warmth. It packs into the included compression stuff sack.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: useful for an overnight power cut when heating is unavailable.
- Grab bag: provides a sleeping option for an unplanned night away.
- Camp: suited to cold-weather camping and four-season use.
- Off-grid trips: adds insulated sleep kit when you are away from usual facilities.
Prep tips
- Store it clean and completely dry, and check it periodically for damp or damage.
- Practise packing it into the stuff sack before you need to leave in a hurry.
