Description / Highlander Rayet Hybrid 450 4 Season Mummy Sleeping Bag - Dark Grey
When a storm or power cut means spending a night away from home, a warm sleeping bag can make a real difference. The Highlander Rayet Hybrid 450 is a four-season mummy sleeping bag with 450 g per m2 double-layer synthetic insulation, a thermal hood and a shoulder baffle to help retain warmth in cold camping conditions.
The water-repellent-finish 210T polyester ripstop shell helps protect against damp conditions, while the siliconised hollow fibre filling is designed to continue insulating in wet conditions such as tent condensation. Use the draw cords to adjust the hood and shoulder baffle, and open the full-length two-way zip for ventilation. It packs into the included compression stuff sack and regains its loft when unpacked.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: a warm sleeping option for an unexpected overnight disruption.
- Bug-out bag: useful when you need to leave at short notice and expect to sleep outdoors.
- Camp: suited to cold-weather and four-season camping.
- Off-grid stays: adds insulation when sleeping away from mains heating.
Prep tips
- Practise packing it into the stuff sack before relying on it for a trip or evacuation.
- Keep it dry in storage and check it periodically for damp or damage.
- Pair it with a sleeping mat to create an insulated layer between you and the ground.
