Highlander Rayet Hybrid 350E 2-3 Season Mummy Sleeping Bag - Pine Green

When a power cut leaves the house cold or a night outdoors turns chilly, a dependable sleeping bag helps you rest with less reliance on heating. The Highlander Rayet Hybrid 350E is a 2 to 3 season mummy sleeping bag with 350 g per m2 double layer synthetic insulation, a thermal hood and an expanded foot box for extra room. Its siliconised hollow fibre insulation is designed to maintain warmth in damp conditions such as tent condensation. The water repellent finish on the 210T polyester ripstop shell helps protect against damp, while a shoulder baffle and draw cords help reduce heat loss. Use the full length two way zip to adjust ventilation; the bag compresses into its stuff sack for transport and storage, then regains its loft when unpacked.

Where it fits in your kit

• Home emergency box: an extra layer for cold nights if heating is unavailable.
• Camping kit: suited to cooler conditions across its suggested 2 to 3 seasons.
• Grab bag: a compacted sleeping option when you may need to leave at short notice.
• Off-grid stays: useful for sleeping in a tent without relying on powered heating.

Prep tips

• Store it dry, and air it fully after use before putting it away.
• Practise packing it into the stuff sack before you need to transport it.
• Pair it with a suitable sleeping mat to add a layer between you and the ground.
