Description / Highlander Olive 5x7ft Groundsheet Tarp
When rain or rough ground makes a tent setup less comfortable, a groundsheet provides an extra layer beneath the tent. The Highlander Olive 5x7ft Groundsheet Tarp is a practical addition to camping and emergency shelter equipment, helping protect the tent from the ground beneath it.
It measures 7 x 5ft / 210 x 150cm and is easy to clean after use. Lay it beneath your tent, checking that it suits your setup, then clean and dry it before putting it away.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: Keep it ready for temporary shelter needs during a disruption.
- Camping kit: Use it beneath a tent for extra ground protection.
- Grab bag: Add it if your plans include setting up a basic shelter away from home.
- Shelter building: Use it as a ground layer at camp or during outdoor practice.
Prep tips
- Check the tarp for damage before relying on it for a trip or shelter setup.
- Clean and dry it before storage to help keep your kit in good order.
- Practise laying it beneath your tent so you know how it fits your setup.
