Description / Highlander Novar 60+5L Expedition Rucksack with Raincover - Dark Grey
If you need to leave home at short notice or carry supplies for several days off-grid, the Highlander Novar 60+5L Expedition Rucksack gives you room to organise the essentials. Its adjustable back system and padded hip belt help support a loaded pack, and a raincover is included for wet weather.
The Tri Active Adjust back system, adjustable shoulder straps and hip belt let you personalise the fit. A drawcord main compartment and several external pockets keep kit organised, while the pack is also hydration bladder compatible and has attachment points for walking poles or an ice axe.
Where it fits in your kit
- Grab bag: carry clothing, food, water and other evacuation essentials.
- Home emergency planning: keep a packed set of supplies together for a short-notice departure.
- Multi-day camp: organise equipment for extended outdoor trips.
- Off-grid travel: carry supplies and use the external pockets to keep frequently needed items accessible.
Prep tips
- Pack heavier items close to your back and adjust the shoulder straps and hip belt before setting off.
- Use waterproof bags inside the pack to protect important contents; the included raincover is an additional layer for wet weather.
- Check your packed rucksack periodically and replace food, medication and other items as they reach their use-by dates.
- Try a loaded walk before relying on the pack for a longer journey, and adjust the fit to suit your load.
