Description / Highlander Novar 50+5L Expedition Rucksack with Raincover - Dark Grey
If you need to leave home at short notice or carry supplies for several days off-grid, the Highlander Novar is a 50+5 litre expedition rucksack with an included raincover. Its adjustable back system and organised storage make it a practical option for an evacuation bag, longer walks or multi-day camping.
The Tri Active Adjust back system, adjustable shoulder straps and hip belt help you set up the pack for your load. Load stabilisation straps help distribute weight, while the drawcord main compartment and multiple pockets keep items organised and accessible. The raincover adds protection in wet conditions; keep it somewhere you can reach quickly.
Where it fits in your kit
- Evacuation bag: carry clothing, food and other essentials if you need to leave home.
- 72-hour kit: use the 50+5 litre capacity to organise supplies for a few days away.
- Multi-day camp: pack sleeping and cooking kit for an extended trip.
- Off-grid walking: use the pockets to keep frequently needed items within reach.
Prep tips
- Pack and adjust the loaded rucksack before relying on it; check that the weight sits comfortably.
- Keep a written inventory and review food, medicines and other time-sensitive supplies regularly.
- Store the raincover where it is easy to access and check your packed kit after use.
