Description / Highlander Medium 45L Waterproof Rucksack Cover - MTP
When rain catches you on the way to shelter or during an evacuation, a waterproof rucksack cover helps protect the kit you need to keep accessible and dry. This Highlander cover is sized for 40 - 50L rucksacks, making it a practical addition to a grab bag or outdoor pack.
The cover weighs 120g and is made from 210D PU Coated Polyester with a strong waterproof coating. A drawcord stuff sack is included, so you can store it with your pack when it is not in use.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: Keep it ready for taking a packed rucksack out in wet weather.
- Grab bag: Add rain protection for a 40 - 50L pack during a short-notice departure.
- Camp: Help protect the contents of your rucksack when conditions turn wet.
- Off-grid trips: Keep it with your pack as a lightweight weather-cover option.
Prep tips
- Check your rucksack size before packing the cover; it is designed for 40 - 50L packs.
- Keep the cover in its stuff sack with your rucksack so it is easy to find when rain arrives.
- Use dry bags inside the pack for important items as an additional layer of organisation and protection.
- Try the cover on your loaded rucksack before relying on it outdoors.
