Description / Highlander HPX100 Folding Gas Stove - 106g

When a power cut or time off-grid means you need to cook away from normal kitchen facilities, the Highlander HPX100 is a compact gas stove for outdoor use. It weighs 106g and folds down for storage, making it a practical backup for a camp cooking kit where space and weight matter. Three folding pan supports hold pots and pans, while the wire gas regulating lever lets you adjust the flame. It is compatible with most threaded gas cartridges; check that your cartridge is suitable before setting out.

Where it fits in your kit

  • Home emergency box: a compact option for outdoor cooking during a power cut.
  • Camping kit: cook at camp without relying on mains-powered appliances.
  • Off-grid cooking setup: pair it with suitable threaded gas cartridges and cookware.
  • Lightweight outdoor kit: the folding design packs down small when space is limited.

Prep tips

  • Use the stove outdoors and follow the stove and gas cartridge instructions.
  • Check cartridge compatibility and pack enough fuel for the meals you plan to cook.
  • Practise setting up and adjusting the flame before you need the stove in an outage.
  • Keep a separate backup cooking method in your emergency plans.
