Description / Highlander Glenderry 4 Person Grey Tent - 1500mm Waterproof Rating
When plans change and you need somewhere to sleep away from home, a tent gives your household a practical shelter option. The Highlander Glenderry is a portable four-person tent for summer camping, with a 1500mm waterproof rating for protection against light rain.
It is described as lightweight and easy to set up, making it a straightforward choice for camping trips and planned emergency shelter. It is designed for summer use, so check the forecast and choose a sheltered pitch rather than relying on it for severe weather.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency supplies: a shelter option to keep with your household’s other evacuation essentials.
- Short-notice evacuation: a place to sleep when you cannot stay at home, if you can take the tent with you.
- Summer campsite: room for a family or small group of up to four.
- Off-grid camp: a portable shelter for planned trips away from facilities.
Prep tips
- Practise pitching the tent before you need it, and check that all parts are present.
- Pack it away dry where possible; if it gets damp, dry it fully before storing to help prevent mildew.
- Pair it with suitable sleeping bags and sleeping mats for the people using it.
- Keep a separate shelter option in your wider plan if conditions may exceed what a summer tent is suited to.
