Description / Highlander Forces Elite 66L Rucksack - Black
When you need to carry clothing, shelter and other essentials for an extended trip or a planned evacuation, the Highlander Forces Elite 66L Rucksack provides generous storage in a water-resistant pack. Its adjustable back system and removable padded hip belt help you set up the pack for your load, while the 900D XTP fabric with PU backing is made for demanding outdoor use.
A large lower compartment, side pockets and an extended lid compartment help organise your gear. MOLLE attachment points allow additional pouches to be fitted, and the pack is hydration bladder compatible. It also has an adjustable sternum strap, shock cord attachment system on the lid and tough No.10 self repair zips.
Where it fits in your kit
- Evacuation kit: space for clothing and essential supplies when you need to leave at short notice.
- Extended off-grid trips: carry equipment and provisions for longer periods away from home.
- Camp and bushcraft: organise outdoor gear across the main compartment and pockets.
- Home emergency box overflow: use as a packable option for keeping larger emergency items together.
Prep tips
- Pack the items you may need first where they are easy to reach, and keep heavier items close to your back.
- Try the loaded pack on before relying on it; adjust the back system, hip belt and sternum strap for a stable fit.
- Water-resistant fabric is not the same as waterproof protection, so use suitable dry bags for items that must stay dry.
