Description / Gerber Quadrant Bamboo FE Folding Knife
When a small cutting job comes up at home or around camp, a folding knife can be a useful tool to keep with your equipment. The Gerber Quadrant Bamboo FE is a fine-edge folding knife with a 2.7” blade, suited to routine tasks where a larger cutting tool would be unnecessary.
Open the blade with the finger flipper; the frame lock holds it in place. It has a satin finish blade and a bamboo scale. Check that the lock is engaged before use, and work on a stable surface with the blade directed away from you.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: A folding cutting tool for suitable small household jobs.
- Workshop or shed: Keep it with tools for general cutting tasks.
- Camp: Use it for small camp jobs and lawful food preparation.
- Bushcraft and woodland work: A folding option for appropriate small tasks at camp.
Prep tips
- Store it securely and keep it out of reach of children.
- Check the blade and frame lock before use, and keep the blade clean and dry before putting it away.
