Description / Gerber Mullet 9-Function Solid State Multi-Tool - Stonewash
When a power cut or small household fault calls for a quick adjustment, having a few basic tools to hand can save a trip to the toolbox. The Gerber Mullet is a compact, 9-function stainless-steel multi-tool for simple repairs and everyday tasks around camp or home.
At 8cm long and 20g, it can be attached to a belt loop or stowed on a keychain using the included split ring. Its solid state design has no exposed blades. The functions include drivers, a pry bar, wire stripper, nail puller, scraper and bottle opener.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: handy for small adjustments when routine tools are not close by.
- Grab bag: a compact option for basic fixes without adding much weight.
- Car kit: useful for minor non-specialist adjustments and opening bottles.
- Camp kit: provides several small tool functions in one compact item.
Prep tips
- Check that the drivers match the fasteners you expect to encounter; this is not a replacement for a full toolkit.
- Practise using the different functions at home so you know which one suits a task.
- Keep it somewhere easy to find, and check periodically that it is still in your kit.
