Description / Gerber LST Mini Lichen Green Lightweight Folding Knife
When a storm or power cut disrupts the usual routine, a compact cutting tool can help with straightforward tasks at home or at camp. The Gerber LST Mini is a lightweight folding knife with a 420HC stainless steel blade and lock-back design, making it a useful option for a household emergency box or camp kit.
Its slim profile folds down for storage, while the glass-filled nylon handle is finished in lichen green. The lock-back mechanism helps keep the blade secure in use. Check the knife before use and work on a stable surface, taking care to keep fingers clear of the blade.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: for household cutting tasks during a disruption.
- Shed or woodstore: keep it with tools used for practical jobs at home.
- Camp: useful for general camp tasks and food preparation.
- Bushcraft: a compact tool for appropriate woodland skills practice.
- Woodland work: handy for controlled cutting tasks where a folding knife is suitable.
Prep tips
- Store it closed in a dry, secure place at home.
- Check the blade condition and lock-back operation periodically.
- Use a stable cutting surface and keep the blade directed away from your hands.
