Description / Gerber EXO-Mod 9.6cm Fixed Blade Knife with Orange Polypropylene Handle
When a camp setup calls for a dependable cutting tool, the Gerber EXO-Mod is a fixed blade knife suited to practical outdoor tasks. Its full-tang construction is designed to improve durability, while the blaze orange grip makes the knife easier to locate among your equipment.
The skeletonized handle keeps the structure lightweight, and the slender design is intended for pack or hip carry. Its sheath system can snap together with other EXO-Mod sheaths, allowing users to select the products they need for their kit.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home tool storage: Keep it with tools for practical household and garden jobs.
- Shed or woodstore: A cutting tool for working with materials and preparing kindling.
- Camp: Useful for routine camp tasks and preparing food.
- Bushcraft and woodland work: A fixed blade option for appropriate outdoor projects.
Prep tips
- Store the knife securely in its sheath, away from children and other items that could be damaged by the blade.
- Check the handle, blade and sheath system periodically, and practise safe handling before relying on it at camp.
- Keep a separate backup cutting tool available where practical, so one tool is not your only option.
