Emergency Ration Pack Accessory Kit

When a power cut or a night at camp means making do with a ration pack, having meal-preparation basics together saves rummaging through separate kit. The Emergency Ration Pack Accessory Kit brings together a heating kit, matches and a mini folding stove, with scouring pads and tissues for simple clean-up afterwards. Keep it with your emergency food or camp supplies so the accessories are ready when you need them. The product details do not specify what fuel the heating kit or stove requires, so check this before relying on the kit for a meal.

Where it fits in your kit

• Home emergency box: Keep meal-preparation accessories with stored emergency food for power cuts.
• Camp kitchen: Set it aside with ration packs for a compact meal-preparation bundle.
• Off-grid supplies: Store it with food and cooking equipment for trips without mains power.

Prep tips

• Check what fuel or other supplies the heating kit and stove need; these are not specified in the product details.
• Keep the matches dry and check them before packing the kit away.
