Description / DD SuperLight Pathfinder Mesh Tent with Waterproof Floor
When insects make an open shelter uncomfortable, this roomy mesh tent gives two campers a place to sleep while keeping bugs out. The DD SuperLight Pathfinder Mesh Tent is designed to be light and quick to set up, making it a practical option for camp and off-grid trips. Its floor has a 3,000mm PU coating for protection from wet ground, but the mesh tent itself is not a fully waterproof shelter: pair it with the DD SuperLight Pathfinder Tent or put a DD SuperLight Tarp overhead for rain cover.
Prop up the foot end with the supplied spreader bar and the top end with a hiking pole. The 162cm width at the head end gives room for two campers side by side, while the 110cm height offers space to sit up. It also suits a solo camper wanting extra room. The roll-up doorway has three zips, and two internal pockets provide places to keep small items close.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp shelter: a bug-proof sleeping space for two.
- Off-grid trips: a low-weight tent option when travelling light.
- Woodland camp: fine mesh helps keep insects outside.
- With a DD SuperLight tarp: add overhead cover from rain.
Prep tips
- Practise setting it up before a trip, including using the spreader bar and a hiking pole.
- Pack a suitable tarp or the compatible waterproof Pathfinder Tent for rain protection.
- Check the tent, pegs and guy-lines before setting out, and keep them together in storage.
