Description / DD Superlight Bikepacker Mesh Tent with Waterproof Floor
If a journey is delayed and you need to stop overnight, a lightweight shelter can make a real difference. The DD Superlight Bikepacker Mesh Tent weighs 460g and combines fully bugproof mesh with a waterproof floor, giving it a practical place in a compact camp kit for bikepacking and off-grid trips.
The tent is easy to set up and includes pegs and straps. Its peg straps offer adjustability for nearly all saddle heights when used with the DD SuperLight Bikepacker Tarp. The tarp is not included in the listed contents, so plan your shelter setup accordingly.
Where it fits in your kit
- Bikepacking camp kit — a lightweight shelter for overnight stops.
- Compact camping kit — takes up less room than a heavier tent.
- Off-grid trips — bugproof mesh and a waterproof floor for sleeping outdoors.
- Home emergency box — consider it for household evacuation planning where you have space to store shelter gear.
Prep tips
- Practise setting it up before relying on it during a trip.
- Dry the tent and cordage completely before storage to help prevent mildew or mould.
- Store it in a cool, dry and dark place.
- Avoid repeatedly folding along the same lines; change the fold after around 10 uses.
