Description / DD Stainless Steel Hammock Suspension Rings (sets of 2)
When wet weather threatens a night at camp, keeping water from tracking along your hammock webbing can make a real difference. These DD stainless steel hammock rings let you customise your suspension set-up and hang angle, while also acting as a drip-stop. They are a practical addition to a hammock shelter kit for camps and off-grid trips.
Made from A4-AISI 316 Marine Grade stainless steel and TIG-welded, the rings are designed for hammock suspension. They weigh 38g for a pair, making them a useful option when keeping camp kit light. They have been tested solely for use as hammock suspension and are not tested or recommended for climbing, abseiling or other safety-critical activities.
Where it fits in your kit
- Hammock shelter kit: customise the suspension set-up and hang angle.
- Camp: use as part of a hammock set-up when sleeping outdoors.
- Off-grid trips: help limit water wicking along the webbing in heavy rain.
Prep tips
- Practise setting up your hammock in calm conditions before relying on it at camp.
- Check the rings and the rest of your suspension set-up before each trip.
- Use the rings only for hammock suspension; do not use them for climbing, abseiling or other safety-critical activities.
