Description / DD Hammock Sleeve - Coyote Brown for Wet-Weather Protection
When a sudden shower threatens a hammock left at camp or in the garden, this sleeve gives you a simple way to cover it. The DD Hammock Sleeve is a 2.8m waterproof cover for all regular DD hammocks, and it also makes rolling up and storing your hammock easier.
Keep the sleeve bunched around the suspension cord so it is ready to extend over the hammock when the weather turns. Drawcords at each end help secure the cover. Its Coyote Brown colour and 60g weight are useful details when choosing what to pack with your hammock kit.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp hammock setup: cover the hammock when wet weather arrives.
- Home emergency box: keep it with a hammock set aside for an outage or temporary disruption.
- Off-grid camp kit: use it to protect your hammock while you step away.
- Hammock storage: make rolling up and packing away the hammock easier.
Prep tips
- Store the sleeve with the hammock so the cover is to hand when you set up.
- Practise extending it over your hammock before relying on it at camp.
- Check that the sleeve is compatible with your hammock; this one is specified for regular DD hammocks.
