Description / DD Hammock Mosquito Net with 360° Ultra-Fine Netting
When you want to sleep outdoors without insects getting in the way, this hammock mosquito net adds a protective layer around a non-netted hammock. Its 360° ultra-fine netting makes it a practical addition to a camp sleep system, especially where midges or other insects are a nuisance.
A zippered entry gives you access, while suspender poles with elastic raise the net above you. Secure drawcord closures at each end help close the net around the hammock. It can be used with non-netted hammocks such as the Camping or Scout hammock.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp sleep system: add insect protection when sleeping in a hammock.
- Off-grid camp: useful for overnight stays away from indoor shelter.
- Hammock setup at home: keep it with a non-netted hammock for garden use.
- Camping storage: store it alongside your hammock so the two are ready together.
Prep tips
- Check that your hammock is non-netted and that the net is suitable for your setup before leaving home.
- Practise fitting the net and using the zippered entry before your first night out.
- Pack it with your hammock and sleep kit so you can find the components together.
- After use, check the netting, entry and closures, and store it dry.
