Description / DD Frontline King Size Olive Green Hammock with Built-In Mosquito Net
When an off-grid night means sleeping away from a bed, the DD Frontline King Size provides a roomy place to rest above the ground, with a built-in mesh mosquito net for insect protection. Its generous dimensions and pre-fitted suspension webbing make it a practical choice for camp when you have suitable anchor points.
The breathable double-layer design has a Velcro tab closure, allowing a partially inflated sleeping mat to be placed between the layers for extra insulation in cooler weather. The net zips closed and can be unzipped and stowed underneath when you want an open hammock. Two spreader poles help maximise the space inside, and four internal pockets keep small valuables close to hand.
Where it fits in your kit
- Off-grid camp: A place to sleep when suitable anchor points are available.
- Woodland camp: The integrated net helps keep insects out while you rest.
- Cool-weather camp: The double layer can hold a partially inflated sleeping mat for extra insulation.
Prep tips
- Practise setting it up before a trip and check that your chosen anchor points are suitable.
- For overhead rain cover, pack a separate tarp; this hammock is not described as having one.
- In cooler weather, try a partially inflated sleeping mat between the layers before relying on the setup overnight.
