Description / DD Frontline Black Hammock with Built-In Mosquito Net
When an overnight stop means sleeping outdoors, the DD Frontline Black Hammock gives you a raised place to rest without needing a flat bed. Its breathable, double-layered design has a built-in mosquito net, making it a practical choice for camp and off-grid sleep setups where insects are a concern.
Pre-fitted 10m suspension webbing helps make setup straightforward. The net zips closed and is held open by the included 60cm spreader poles and elastic; unzip both sides and roll it away when you want an open hammock. Four internal pockets keep small essentials close, and the hammock can be paired with a DD Underblanket for colder conditions.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp sleep setup: a raised alternative to sleeping directly on the ground.
- Off-grid trips: useful when you have suitable supports and want a place to rest.
- Bushcraft camp: the built-in net helps keep insects away while you sleep.
- Outdoor overnight kit: pack it with suitable insulation for the conditions.
Prep tips
- Practise setting it up before a trip and check that your chosen supports are suitable.
- Pair it with insulation appropriate to the expected temperatures; the source recommends a DD Underblanket for colder months.
- Keep the hammock and its components together in the stuff sack, and check them before heading out.
