Description / DD Daisy Chain 3m Hammock Tree Straps (x2)
When you need a place to rest at camp without relying on a flat pitch, these DD Daisy Chain tree straps give a hammock an adjustable way to hang between trees. The pair of 3m straps has multiple attachment loops, so you can choose a suitable hanging point for your setup.
Wrap a strap around a tree and feed it through its single loop; the free end then offers 14 loops to attach your hammock to. This allows adjustment without knots and can help when the trees are spaced differently. The straps are lightweight and small in pack size. Used with Whoopie Slings and Karabiners, they can help water run off compared with standard webbing, acting as a drip stop in poor weather.
Where it fits in your kit
- Hammock shelter setup: gives you several attachment points to adjust the hang.
- Camp kit: packs small for trips where a hammock is part of your shelter plan.
- Off-grid rest spot: useful when you have suitable trees and want to keep clear of wet ground.
Prep tips
- Practise setting up the straps and hammock before relying on them at camp.
- Check that your chosen trees and attachment points are suitable before hanging your weight.
- Pair with a hammock and, if your setup uses them, Whoopie Slings and Karabiners; these are not stated as included.
