Description / DD 3x3m Waterproof Tarp - Coyote
When a storm catches you outdoors or rain makes a camp shelter less comfortable, this 3x3 tarp gives you a practical way to create cover. Its PU 3000mm waterproof coating and taped central seam make it a dependable option for shelter building, while its 3x3 size offers cover for one person plus gear.
Pitch it in an A-frame or diamond over a hammock, extend a tent porch, or use it as a ground sheet. There are 19 reinforced attachment points: 16 around the sides and corners, plus 3 along the centre ridge line. Four pegs and guy lines are included in their own bag.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: useful backup cover during storm damage or a temporary outdoor job.
- Grab bag: a compact shelter option for an evacuation or an unexpected night outdoors.
- Camp shelter: pitch over a hammock or use it to extend a tent porch.
- Ground cover: use it as a ground sheet when setting up camp.
Prep tips
- Practise pitching it in familiar conditions before relying on it in bad weather.
- Check the tarp, pegs and guy lines when you repack your kit, and keep the included parts together.
- Choose a site clear of hazards and tension the guy lines evenly when pitching.
