Description / DD 3x3m Tarp - Olive Green
When a storm or sudden evacuation means you need shelter outdoors, the DD 3x3m Tarp gives you a flexible cover that can be pitched above a hammock or used on its own. Its PU 3000mm waterproof coating and taped central seam make it a practical shelter option for a grab bag or camp kit.
Use the 19 reinforced attachment points to pitch it as an A-frame or diamond shelter over a hammock. It can also connect two tent porches, extend a single porch or be used as a tipi tent with a pole. Four pegs and guy lines are included.
Where it fits in your kit
- Grab bag or bug-out bag: a shelter option if you need to leave home at short notice.
- Home emergency box: useful cover for temporary outdoor tasks during storm damage or repairs.
- Camp and bushcraft: pitch it over a hammock or as a standalone shelter.
- Off-grid camp: extend a tent porch or connect two porches for additional cover.
Prep tips
- Practise pitching it at home so you know how to use the attachment points before you need shelter.
- Dry the tarp and attached cords thoroughly before storing to help prevent mildew or odours.
- Store it in a cool, dry, shaded place and vary the folding lines to reduce wear.
- Keep it away from open flames and other heat sources.
