Description / Camouflage Tarpaulin 1.2m x 1.8m with Eyelets
When a storm or a night outdoors calls for a simple cover, this camouflage tarpaulin provides a small, lightweight option for shelter building. It measures 1.2m x 1.8m and has eyelets to help secure it where needed, making it a practical addition to a camp kit or home emergency box.
Use cord or suitable ties through the eyelets to attach the tarp to secure points. Its stated coverage is 2.16m², so plan the setup around that area and the space you need to cover. The source does not specify the material or weatherproofing, so check that it is suitable for your intended use rather than relying on it as a guaranteed weather barrier.
Where it fits in your kit
- Camp shelter building: a small tarp for practising simple shelter setups.
- Home emergency box: a compact option for temporary covering jobs around the home.
- Grab bag: weighs approximately 175g and adds another shelter-building option.
- Bushcraft kit: useful for learning tarp layouts and shelter construction.
Prep tips
- Pair it with suitable cordage and practise tying it securely before you need it.
