Description / Camouflage/Olive Green Tarpaulin 3.5m x 5.4m with Eyelets
When a storm brings heavy rain or you need a simple shelter at camp, this 3.5m x 5.4m camouflage tarpaulin gives you a waterproof sheet for cover. Its lightweight 80gsm construction makes it a practical option for a home emergency box or outdoor kit.
Reinforced hems hold 12mm aluminium eyelets at 1 metre intervals to help with securing the tarp. It remains flexible in sub-zero temperatures and is UV protected, rotproof and shrinkproof. Choose suitable anchor points and pitch it so water can run off rather than collect.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home emergency box: a waterproof cover for items that need temporary protection outdoors.
- Camp and bushcraft: use as a tarp shelter or ground cover when conditions change.
- Storm preparation: keep it available for temporary cover around the home.
- Off-grid stays: add a flexible shelter option when camping away from facilities.
Prep tips
- Practise pitching it before you need it, and check that your chosen anchors are secure.
- Inspect the reinforced hems and eyelets periodically for wear.
- Store it clean and dry where practical, ready to reach in your home emergency kit.
- Keep tarpaulins clear of open flames and other sources of heat.
