Description / Brusletto Kit 5 - Bamsen Bushcraft Knife Making Kit
When you are developing practical bushcraft skills, making and maintaining your own equipment can be part of the job. The Brusletto Kit 5 - Bamsen Bushcraft Knife Making Kit supplies the components to assemble a fixed blade knife, including a 440C stainless steel blade and a rough-shaped Bamsen handle blank.
The kit includes two bolsters, two leather pieces for the handle and a finished leather sheath with a snap button. Instructions are provided in Norwegian and English to guide the assembly. Work through the steps at a suitable bench, taking care with the blade and tools as you fit the components.
Where it fits in your kit
- Home workshop: A project for assembling and finishing a useful camp tool.
- Shed or woodstore: Keep the kit with your knife-making and maintenance tools.
- Camp skills practice: Use it as a hands-on project before relying on a finished knife for camp tasks.
- Bushcraft and woodland work: The completed knife is intended for practical outdoor tasks, not as a substitute for preparation or training.
Prep tips
- Choose a stable, well-lit work surface and keep the blade controlled during assembly.
- Read the instructions before starting and set out all components so nothing is misplaced.
