Description / BeWild EdgeTamer Double-Sided Paddle Strop for Knife Care
A bushcraft knife used for camp tasks needs regular edge care to stay ready for practical work. The BeWild EdgeTamer is a wooden paddle strop with coarse and fine leather compounds, giving you two surfaces for honing and polishing a knife edge.
Apply a small amount of honing oil or compound to the leather, then draw the blade backwards along the strop, alternating sides. Use the coarse leather for the initial honing and the fine leather to polish the edge. Check your knife’s care instructions and use a controlled technique.
