Description / Beavercraft C1M Small Wood Carving Knife
When camp or bushcraft tasks call for shaping a small wooden item, the Beavercraft C1M is a dedicated whittling knife for controlled carving in soft wood. Its 60 mm blade is suited to fine detailing as well as light shaping, making it a useful specialist hand tool for a well-chosen kit.
The blade is made from 1066 high-carbon steel, hardened to 57–59 HRC and sharpened to a 20° bevel angle. It can be used on hardwoods, but the fine edge is best suited to softer materials to maintain sharpness. The polished ashwood handle is coated with natural linseed oil and shaped for use by either right- or left-handed carvers.
