Description / BeaverCraft AX2 Compact Wood Carving Adze
When a camp or workshop project needs wood hollowed or shaped, the BeaverCraft AX2 Compact Wood Carving Adze is a purpose-made hand tool for the job. Its curved blade, set at a right angle to the handle, helps remove material from the inside of small bowls, spoons, kuksas and ladles—useful for practical woodworking at home or at camp.
The blade is made from 1066 high-carbon steel with a hardness rating of 56-58 HRC. The ashwood handle is treated with linseed oil and wax, and the adze comes with a cowhide leather sheath and belt loop for storage. Use controlled strokes and work on a stable surface suited to the project.
