When you have time at camp to practise making useful items from wood, the Beaver Craft S16 provides a dedicated set of carving tools and beginner blocks. It is a practical choice for learning chip-carving and developing a hands-on skill that can complement a broader camp toolkit.
The knives are made from high carbon steel and are suitable for working with softwood or hardwood. The set includes an extremely sharp small cutting knife, a chip carving knife and a set of basswood carving blocks for beginners. Practise on the supplied blocks and work on a stable surface.
