When you want to make a simple utensil for camp or practise a useful bushcraft skill, the Beaver Craft BB2 set gives you four pre-shaped spoon blanks to work on. Each is made from a different wood, so you can explore how basswood, cherry, mulberry and European walnut feel under a carving tool.
The blanks are processed to remove knots and defects, giving you a clean starting point for shaping the bowl and handle. All four share the same dimensions, making it straightforward to compare the different woods as you work. Carving tools are not listed as included, so have suitable tools ready before starting.
