Description / 12" X 8mm Olive Green Bungee Cords with Hooks - 2 Pack
When a storm means you need to secure a tarp or keep loose kit together, these olive-green bungee cords offer a simple, reusable option. The two supplied cords are compact enough to keep with household or vehicle supplies and useful for everyday jobs as well as emergency preparations.
The elastic helps hold items in place, while the hooks make the cords quick to attach. Use them to fix a tarp over a trailer, tie kit to a pack or secure a shelter covering. Check the fit before relying on them, and use suitable straps for heavy or safety-critical loads.
Where it fits in your kit
- Car kit: handy for securing a tarp or loose supplies during a breakdown.
- Home emergency box: keep them ready for temporary cover or bundling equipment.
- Camp and bushcraft: useful for attaching kit to a pack or holding a tarp in place.
- Garage or shed: a practical choice for trailer covers and general tie-down jobs.
Prep tips
- Store the cords somewhere dry and easy to find, and check them periodically for wear or damage.
- Practise attaching a tarp before bad weather arrives, so you know where the cords will fit.
- Keep a non-elastic strap or cordage as a backup for jobs where stretch is not suitable.
